iOS has that.. i'm wondering if you are excluding the premium apps

saw this once, but have not been able to reproduce. Will leave open for tracking, but remove from milestone.

YouTube won't launch on Fire TV

Using the Beta emulator:

Using iPhone, launch web app. Using Android - join it. Using Android 'Send Message' - note message is received by web app. Press 'Close WebApp' - notice that a high % of the time the web app does not close. The sampler reacts like it does by disabling 'Send Message' 'Send JSON'

Press show photo, press show video - note the splash screen is shown even though media player is still active. it should just switch to next media without showing splash - like CC.

Please rename "My App" to "My DIAL App". Please register the DIAL app called "Levak"... there is an app on fire tv registered as Levak and pressing "My DIAL App' should launch it.

Please implement - press once and it launch the app, press again and it closes it.

In sample app - connect to '13 TV, when pairing dialogue appears - press cancel. Note the pin code is still on tv. Press Connect and pick the '13 TV once again. Notice the app doesn't ask for pin code.

Launch app, connect to '12 tv, go to remote tab, select one of the listed channels, immediately switch to another tab. Crash.

good stuff so far. One thing I've wondered is if messaging to the TV wouldn't be possible using the AppToApp service on the TV. Could you weigh in on that?

It shouldn't be greyed out.. it should launch netflix deep linked to Avengers

DIAL service configs loaded from the device store are missing an applicationURL (since the IP may be stale).

This causes the call probeForAppSupport in the constructor (which probably shouldn't be done in the constructor) to fail.

@iheart2code We need to make sure that applicationURL gets populated when available from discovery, and that nobody tries to use the DIAL service before it's ready.

Launch web app with Android. Join it with iOS. Close it with iOS. Notice "Close WebApp" is still a selectable button.

Android app should recognize that web app was closed and make "Close WebApp" greyed out.

Using iOS device, launch web app. Wait till it loads, press Join on Android. Send message or close web app.

Repeat 10 times. This is reproducible about 30% of the time.

Keyboard stopped working...

Launch browser, use mouse to select URL input. Note system keyboard popups but not on mobile.

When using the mouse via HTTP in Netcast it is very sluggish and jumpy. Since Netcast platform supports UDP mouse control it may be a good idea to utilize it to improve the performace. I have working code that you may be able to improve and utilize if interested.

The Android SDK Manager does not allow downloading API Level 9 unless the "Obsolete" checkbox is checked. Even then, there are issues with Google Play Services when I try to import into Android Studio.

Browsing through the Netcast Code it seems it was planned to add support for fetching icons from the TV but it is not implemented. Is there any plan to complete this or am I missing something?

After reproducing #53, press 'Launch' for web app - notice web app launches, but app2app isn't connected.

press disconnect- notice the crash.

In case LG TV friendlyName contains special characters SAX parser fails in parsing
(name must be escape to HTML before parsing)
this causes friendly name to be partly extracted

Your media and system volume controls show system UI for volume changes. iOS show any system UI when making volume changes. please reconcile.

May be an issue with our internal HTTP server. Might also be an issue with Charles.

Press play video, note duration. Before before ends, press play audio - note duration has not changed.

I'm able to connect with Roku 2, but when I switch to Roku 3 - nothing works (media, 5way etc..)

I got the sampler to crash on a few occasions when connected to chromecast and pressing 'Join' and 'Close WebApp'. I can't seem to track the exact steps down. I'm testing with an iPhone and Android.. launching web app with one and joining with the other. Randomly it press close and it crashes.
