A repository of references for managers, mostly of things I've created or used.

Please, reuse these! Use them of examples of what to do or what not to do! But, if you do, please cite me as the author and if you reuse them in promotion of yourself, you must also use the license I've chosen, the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. You are permitted to use these for commercial purposes UNLESS a license in a directory or in a file within this repository restricts that. CC-BY-SA-4.0 is simply the default for this repo.

Unless otherwise noted, these documents are original documents that I've written throughout my career while in a position of leadership or management. Considering I've been in management of volunteers or non-profit boards since 2002, tech lead or manager of software engineers since 2014, or a brief stint as a newspaper editor 2005-2007 with a staff of nearly 40 student journalists and photographers, I have accumulated a lot of things not always fit to be published and not always well-sourced at the time I created them.

If you spot something unoriginal, call it out politely in an issue so that I can cite it.

I took some time to write out my thoughts at Colin Dean's managerreadme.com but likely have moved elements of it to this repository in some way.
