Hi rtl versions are separate files (bootstrap-rtl.css / bootstrap-rtl.js) . but it seems bootstrap-ie8 support english version only ex: https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/coliff/bootstrap-ie8/css/bootstrap-ie9.min.css

IE9 - Position of div, not center, navigation button gone, carousel button changed, can
t detect col-md-x class (only show 1 column)

Prefer to install via NPM? No problem...

Navbars are hidden (collapsed) in IE9. Suppose it´s got to do with JS.

There are no working JavaScript polyfills available for Flexbox for us to use so we'll need to provide a workaround CSS-based solution, likely being a fallback to the grid system used in Bootstrap 3.

we can fix by setting a width attribute

We need to add a float-based fallback for the new list-group-horizontal class.

on IE8 the navbar links are all white... when in fact they should be grey and only white on active state. Additional CSS for this is needed.

I just installed this package with NPM and got the following error when compiling:
error in ./node_modules/bootstrap-ie8/css/bootstrap-ie8.css
Module build failed: BrowserslistError: .\node_modules\bootstrap-ie8 contains both .browserslistrc and package.json with browsers

I resolved the issue locally by deleting the .browserslistrc file. I'm guessing one could remove the browsers value in package.json just as well.
I don't know if both of these are needed outside of NPM installs, but it would be nice to not have to do delete the files manually when I run npm install in the future. Or maybe there is something I'm missing that would resolve this?

Right now I'm just including the package by having require('bootstrap-ie8') in my entry JS file. (I'm using VueJS)
Maybe this is the wrong way to include the package?

When I open https://coliff.github.io/bootstrap-ie8/test.htm on IE8&IE9, it doesn't work.
For example:Carousel, Popovers, Tooltips

So how can I use this plugins?

IE9 doesn't have CSS animation so may need JS fix

As this requires JS, we'll likely hide the indicators and have the first slide static as a fallback solution.

The Bootstrap 5 alpha is coming soon. How about create some patches to support Bootstrap 5 on IE 10 and IE 11?
