Ensure presence at CMS DAS, prepare a long exercise that uses coffea. As of 10/24, two options:

• ttgamma, with Daniel Noonan as main contact
• mono-photon, with a combination of Nick/Lindsey/Matteo as main contact

Status as of 10/24:

• Most natural to be taken out, but wait for boost histograms

• mpl-hep PR to be reviewed

• FAST can replace the way we communicate histograms

Status as of 10/24:

• Processor is the only part of the code that keeps evolving

• Exploit the synergy with university groups to ensure maintenance

• Involve the developer of the backends when possible

• Can be taken out as a standalone package, but no clear advantage

• FAST interface, should be already supported

How often new releases break things that use to work?

• if the ratio of people reporting bugs due to new features that have been introduced is low, no problem (fluid approach)
• if it's high, you wanna be more conservative with the release cycle. Establish a hierarchy of releases.

Size of the user base is another variable. And user practice, at the moment users install the latest.

Status as of 10/24:

• Mix general+CMS specific, needs to be repacked

• Better interface, more flexible

• Constructing a SF from ratios should be more straightforward

• No high priority

Test the functionality of the FNAL Coffea Farm with multiple user. As of 10/24, need to recruit "bodies".
