The donation doesn't go through on Firefox Focus mobile browser. I have tried it two times. It works fine until payment page. But after you give all your details and enter the OTP, the page just goes blank. This might either be a issue with Razorpay itself or with Firefox Focus and we should notify both of them about this

The text in the contribute button should just be Contribute [amount], where amount will be the amount entered by the user + 2.36% and the payment will go through our Razorpay widget

We are using Razorpay to process payments from Debit / Credit Cards and Net Banking. Razorpay charges about 2.36% of the total amount as their processing fee, and this gets deducted from the donation amount after settlement

We need to update the donation page to add 2.36% of the entered amount when the person on the other end is making payment through Debit / Credit or Netbanking. We should also mention that the extra amount is for the processing fee

The donate section on donate.coderplex.org is not responsive. The logo and the donate button gets cut off screen for some screen sizes at 100%, but fits properly when zoomed out. This might be a problem only on certain desktops and laptops

We need to build a crowdfunding page similar to our donation page, but on this page we will run campaigns for initiatives that people can support. We will start with a campaign to buy video camera equipment and allocate budget for recording all of our offline meetup talks and publish them online for free.

We can later expand this into a complete crowdfunding platform, and start doing various small and big campaigns for the community. For example, we can have a campaign to support our Teaching Kids Code initiative, or on a small scale, we can have a campaigns to collect money for Food and Beverages for each of our meetups.

We can build this as a open source project that anyone can host on their own platform to do crowdfunding for any campaign or project. To do this, we might need to add integration for multiple payment gateways later on. For now we can just stick with Razorpay.

• A page to see all the campaigns (crowdfund.coderplex.org ?)
• Show campaign for video recording meetups as the only item in the list for now
• Separate page for videography campaign (./record-meetups ?)
• Title : "Support us to video record all our meetups"

We recently launched our donations page. We followed our Razorpay Payments Page design, but we want to redesign the UI/UX of the page. Ideally, I think we should try to follow the example of Khan Academy's donation page

Open to any suggestions or design inputs. You can contribute to this issue by simply posting any mockups you design for the web page. We can vote on it, discuss, and create a new issue to implement the design that is selected

As @vinaypuppal suggested, we should render our crowdfunding page server side to avoid latency in elements on the page loading when the user opens the page

We need to remove the UPI button from the Campaign's page. We should only use Razorpay to track all the transactions and reflect them on the page once they are confirmed
