search-maze is somewhat cluttered with setting defaults. It might be nice to extract something like (defn build-maze [overrides] ...) that merges in defaults for us.

If, after generating a maze, we simply add walls around its perimeter, we no longer need to do bounds checking to determine valid neighbors. This lets us lean on the walls set more, and avoid passing size deep into core.

lets create an implicit do in their body, so https://github.com/clojure-rica/maize/blob/master/src-cljs/maze/core.cljs#L48 is not needed.

(defrecord Maze [doors walls visited ...])

Might clean up the code a bit to have an explicit record. Shouldn't require many changes, since records can do almost everything maps can, but are significantly more performant, and help document what your data looks like.

If we go this route, I'd like to experiment passing the entire maze structure to all fns, with each fn destructuring out the pieces it needs.

Let's see if we can separate the generic tree traversal stuff from the specifics found in each of these functions.
