I'm not sure if the default theme, Minima, has special support for a Mastodon link or not. I didn't see one on first look. May need to customize the theme footer.

Who will I find on #code4lib?
There is an incomplete list of regulars here. This is not an official list of any kind. If you’re not on it yet, feel free to add your nick, your name, and a link to your website.
has a link to the old Drupal site at https://code4lib.org/node/87
Not sure if that list exists anywhere it can be salvaged or if it should just be removed.
Enabling posts search shouldn't be too hard. I think there are a few Jekyll plugins around for that.
https://code4lib.org/conference/2014/schedule
Scroll down to "Wednesday, March 26", you'll see a </ul>
and then Wednesday's bullet list is underneath. Same issue for "Thursday".
The About page is showing a default Jekyll page
The slack sign up link at https://code4lib.org/slack is showing a 404.
Most everything listed on the Local Chapters page HowTo section is now out-of-date.
The posts listed on the homepage show date and title. It would be great to see an author, category, and short excerpt in addition to date and title.
It's pretty easy to just grab the first 10 lines of text for entries that don't actually have excerpts.

Is it available under another URL, perhaps?
The archive page will contain a category list and a year list where each item in each list shows the number of posts matching that category/year.
Clicking on a category or year will take the user to a page listing the posts in that category/year.
A set of permalinks will make any category or date available at:
/category/[category name]
/archives/[year] (optional /[month]/[day])
In order to reduce the amount of scrolling, it would be great to add pagination to the landing page.
For earlier conferences, each main talk would usually get it's own page, to link slides, video, etc. These are linked off the schedule that way, but the permalinks haven't been added yet.
Example:
2008 conference schedule: https://code4lib.org/conference/2008/schedule
link to "Finding Relationships in Marc Data - Rob Styles" is https://code4lib.org/conference/2008/styles
link is broken, need to find the talk page/post and add permalink: /conference/2008/styles
to front matter
2006 and 2007 pages don't have /conference
in most of the URLs so more may need changing.
Fixing a year's schedule, or even part of one, would help. Progress can be tracked here:
The current video.google.com links don't work. Most appear to be available here: https://www.youtube.com/user/ebyryan/videos
Make new post announcing the 2019 conference and linking to conference site.
Also list on Conference page.
It's pulled out on the index view but not on the post view
Include instruction on how to update the site, how the content is laid out, how to make a PR, etc.
We changed this repo name for GitHub Pages to be code4lib.github.io
The links to the Applachia and NE chapters are timing out The NYS chapter link resolves, but to a page not found message on NYR Education and Employment.
We're a full major version behind on jekyll and bundler. sass (used by our old jekyll) is end-of-lifed.
I would like to Upgrade All The Things. In the process, I'd also like to specify a ruby version, for ease of future developers. (I'll pick the most recent one consistent with jekyll and its friends.)
Any reason I should not do this?
Links need to be updated to https://library.brown.edu/code4lib/..., rather than http://dl.lib.brown.edu/code4lib/...
