currently the qt, cmake, matlab, morlab, mess, etc download files just go in random places. Make a dependencies folder probably in the downloads folder or home so these are all cleaned up and out of the way

just group things so that the stuff requiring user inputs is back to back and once it is started it can go on its own

So that others can tell what is going on

maybe have it run with all the common plugins

in the cli so that I can git pull from my private repos

in case I overwrite someones settings or something they have set up

I would like to rewrite the installation instructions in my own words so I do not have to worry about anyone claiming I copied them. There are also a lot of potentially unnecessary things and it would be nice to strip it down and have an explanation for everything which is necessary.

Move the installation of vscode into an if statement with the bashrc edits, so we can check if code is installed

I would like to try to run everything with the newest version of programs, i.e. Qt, cmake, pybind, etc, and see if everything works

also add stable option

i have a sofa, matlab, clone and symlink, etc; I should have just one script on a new linux install which does everything I need
