cloudfoundry.org's Issues
Integrate in the new docs.cloudfoundry.org.
Still waiting on the go ahead from Elisabeth Hendrickson at Pivotal.
add directory structure and files for bootstrap-based site
Align Bootstrap CSS with Ruby CSS
Add a new blog page that uses planetplanet.org blog facility
Add Raleigh meetup to the list
There's a new RTP area user group: http://www.meetup.com/Raleigh-Cloud-Foundry-Meetup/
publish.sh uses deprecated cf gem syntax
publish.sh s/b updated to use cfv6 cli syntax
Add Google analytics to the web pages
Make sure that Google Analytics is up and running for all the cloudfoundry.org pages. Make sure the Google User account that is collecting the data has the correct permissions for the appropriate administrators to be able to collect data for necessary reports.
Add a page that will show the metrics for Cloudfoundry.org
There are metrics that are already available at www.ohloh.net and on GitHub.com that we can display in a page on the web site. This page needs to be constructed and organized with the look and feel of the web site while using the widgets of ohloh.net and data from GitHub.
Create a Social Media page
This page should encompass all of the appropriate social media. Need to make sure that we have the appropriate items set up for Facebook, Twitter and all of the other relevant social media and social networking web sites.
/contribute/ page is empty
Various places across Cloud Foundry properties link to https://www.cloudfoundry.org/contribute/, but the page is blank:
The navigation bar at the top of cloudfoundry.org links to https://www.cloudfoundry.org/community/contribute/ ... should the former redirect to the latter?
Also, I couldn't find the source file for the latter...is that on GitHub somewhere? Thanks!
Enhancing meetup groups around the world
Add a new wiki page
needed to `gem install` more packages for build.sh to run
I had to do gem install
on the following gems, before sh build.sh
command would work.
- middleman
- multi_json -v 1.8.4
- activesupport -v 3.2.16
- chunky_png -v 1.2.9
- compass -v 0.12.2
- eventmachine -v 1.0.3
- http_parser.rb -v 0.5.3
- em-websocket -v 0.5.0
- kramdown -v 1.3.1
- rb-kqueue -v 0.2.0
- sprockets -v 2.10.1
- sprockets-sass -v 1.0.2
- middleman-sprockets -v 3.2.0
- rack-livereload -v 0.3.15
- middleman-livereload -v 3.1.1
The error messages that told me what to install also told me the verison to install, so added that version. In addition, I didn't have middleman installed, so I did a gem install
of middleman, without a version.
If it's not painfully clear, I'm a Ruby N00by.
