CLICON

CLICON is an automatic configuration manager where you from a YANG specification generate interactive CLI, NETCONF and embedded databases with transaction support.

Presentations and tutorial is found on the CLICON project page

A typical installation is as follows:

> configure	       	        # Configure clicon to platform
> make                      # Compile
> sudo make install         # Install libs, binaries, and config-files
> sudo make install-include # Install include files (for compiling)

Several example applications are provided, including Hello, NTP, datamodel and yang router. See also ROST which is an open-source router using CLICON. It all origins from work at KTH

CLIgen is required for building CLICON. If you need to build and install CLIgen:

git clone https://github.com/olofhagsand/cligen.git
cd cligen; configure; make; make install

CLICON is covered by GPLv3, and is also available with commercial license.

3gpp docker container isn't listening for NETCONF

Hi,

I'm checking the 3gpp docker container and it looks like that it's listening only for RESTCONF.
Is there any way to enable NETCONF too? I'm able to use the clixon_netconf, but I want to use it from outside the container.

I couldn't join the Slack channel so I'm trying here...

missing definition in makefile

I wanted to build and install out of the main root dir and then i run configure like this.

./configure  --prefix=/home/user/repos/conan-netconf/clixon/root --with-cligen=/home/user/repos/conan-netconf/clixon/root --with-clixon=/home/user/repos/conan-netconf/clixon/root

and next i run make, generating the following error:

sudo make  install
...

It turns out that there is this missing definition in https://github.com/clicon/clixon-examples/blob/master/wifi/src/Makefile.in

LDFLAGS 	= @LDFLAGS@

configure and make again and it's all done !
