In the root folder, as well as the client folder, run the command:
npm install
In the server folder, run:
node index
In the client folder, run:
npm start
Open up a web browser and go to localhost:3000 to access the app. Use multiple tabs/ windows in order to create multiple connections and play the game.
When you are in a game, and then refresh the browser, the react state breaks. You no longer have a username and are rerouted to the front-page. However, you do not send a signal to exit the room, but you do join the room from the URL. So the user will have socket events bound to said room, despite not being in the room.
A session manager + more robust user system should be able to help address this.
