Adds a disk to a mount location.
Example use cases for Disk Adder:
- Create a separate /home partition.
- Add additional backup and storage partitions.
Disk Adder allows you to choose any location on your machine for mounting a disk. If the mounting location already contains files, Disk Adder gives you the option to merge the files or overwrite them with the disk. Disk Adder also gives you the option to automatically mount the disk when the machine restarts. If you are using Disk Adder to create a separate /home partition, it is highly recommended that you choose to allow this to merge the /home directory with the disk and automaticlly mount the disk when the machine restarts.
- Add a persistent disk to your instance.
- Run the following commands.
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jamrizzi/disk-adder/master/add-disk.sh
sudo bash add-disk.sh
