Newtonsoft.Json library for MonoTouch/MonoDroid. The official Newtonsoft.Json project can be found here: http://json.codeplex.com/ Going to be expanding this further. Thanks to JamesNK for all his hard work on this project.
When I'm using install-package Newtonsoft.Json command in Package Manager Console of VS2010SP1, the package line added to packages.config file in my project says that the version used is 4.0.1, while the assembly in Packages directory - Packages\Newtonsoft.Json.4.0.1\lib\40\Newtonsoft.Json.dll has version number 4.0.0.0.
As a result, I'm getting Error#170 from StructureMap (I'm using SM-2.6.2).
When I set the configuration of the MonoTouch solution to Debug|iPhone it won´t compile.
When I compile it with Debug|iPhoneSimulator, reference it in some other project and try to build that project with Debug|iPhone a linker error occurs. The cause lies with System.Reflection.Emit.
Has anybody successfully deployed the Json MonoTouch lib to the iPhone (not just the simulator)?
At the moment I'm hitting an issue when trying to run the unit tests for the project. MonoDevelop says that it cannot find the assembly that MonoDevelop has just created...
Attempted JIT compilation when a class is missing a default constructor and used in a collection. This is the failing method that is called: https://gist.github.com/826630
The unit tests within the project do not run but this code should fail when ran on the device https://gist.github.com/826348
Updating JsonConvert.GetUtcOffSet seems to fix the issue https://gist.github.com/826443 - not sure of the implications of this as the unit tests aren't running
