This is a very simple python script that you can cron job to clear history from a rocket.chat server that are over 30 days old. Use at own risk under GNU public license.

Simply use this and add it to cron to have it clear any chat history past 30 days old.
#NOTE You will have to change localhost/parties to the name of YOUR DATABASE name for this to work. You can change the threshold from 30 days to anything by modifying line 25.
Love the script and thank you for your work. I have a very active chat community. How would I set this to something like 1 or 2 minutes so I don't keep any chat history older than that?

MongoDB shell version: 2.6.12
connecting to: localhost/parties
WriteResult({ "nRemoved" : 0 })
I changed the ( -30:10 ) to (-1:10)
No files removed... no internal chat room(channels) room deleted.. nothing happened.
I'd like to know if it works in snap installs of rocketchat.
