webplate's Issues

newbie or server Problem

Hi โ€“ย as this is the first time that I work with bower and grunt I admit that I might not exactly understand the concept of it. I use Webplate because 1. it's nice and 2. its confurable.

for a first test I set up a server http://neu.run-bike.de and used pretty much the same elements that you used on getwebplate.com.

Some positions are computetd weird, see the y-position of the scroll-down arrow?

What I did: installed bower as advsed
installed webplate
copied the webplate forlder from ~/Sites/bower-componets/webplate to ~/Sites/webplate
renamed it
created a new index html
changed path to stack.js

added some text and images as you see.

what do I need the grunt stuff for? can I change the stack.js (I use not all the libraries)?

Any hint where I can get along would be great!

Adding webplate to existing yeoman project

Hi,

Trying to add Webplate to an existing project started with yeoman, bourbon/neat etc.
but I am having some difficulties with building it.
I installed Webplate with bower install in the bower_components folder and everything
looks fine with grunt serve but as soon as I run grunt build the web application shows a blank page
only. I guess this is happening because of the grunt js concate task.
Any idea get around this?

Wordpress

Hello
I was wondering whether you know of any wordpress theme that use web plate so I would have a start?

thanks

Webplate Responsive Navigation

Hi,

I am using the Webplate stack for one of my projects and I really love the responsive
triggered menu. I am working on a new project and I was wondering if it is possible to
use Flickerplate with the navigation only (as a separated plugin perhaps? )?
I downloaded Flickerplate separately but can't find the navigation js.

XMLHttpRequest cannot load

I opened up the file after installing (successfully) webplate command tools. Thats what happens when I open the index file after a clean download/installation.

Links in Header Flicker

When a user wants to insert a link into a header Flicker, the scroll down button forces the container to overlay and prevents the content from being interacted with.

display some kind of loading till website is hidden

Sometimes , and reproducible with slow network connections , webplate website will load blank and will not show any progress till background image is loaded. This behavior makes user assume that website is broken.

Displaying some kind of loading activity till hidden is unset on body will likely fix this issue. And congratulations , this is a great project ๐Ÿ˜„

Penplate Check No Set

This causes Webplate to crash in mobile view as the required $check_penplate variables is not set.

Small typo in the docs?

Hi,

Nice framework there. Thanks for the work done. :)

Reading the DOCs right now and I think there is a small typo:

**Changing The Settings**
The following settings can be changed in the **[webplate]/_settings.scss** file and will require a re-compile of the core Webplate CSS to take effect. To do so go to [webplate]/core/build and run the following grunt command.

As I see there is no file _settings.scss in the main folder so I guess you meant:
[webplate]/core/sass/import.scss ?
Please, correct me if I am wrong.

Once again thank you for the good work. :)
