Is it possible to have extractor cleanup the rar files after extraction leaving just the file.

WIndows 10 x64.

Tried things like enabling the GTK ui, reinstalling python 2.7, but no difference.

Whenever I check the mark in the plugins for the extractor, and click apply, it will unselect, there must be something going wrong with loading, other plugins do load.

I suspect this might happen because the windows version of deluge is not yet the latest version.

Would like the option to use 7z for rar files on linux as well. Now it is forced to use unrar for rar-files.

It would be nice to add label support so it extract all except torrents with certain labels or only extract certain torrents with certain labels.

I'm willing to provide dev support on this, however given python 2.7 is now the way of the dodo, it's probably a good idea to consider upgrading this to python3.

IF you're willing, I'm be glad to collab with you to help out since I know it's a pretty big task.

for some reason the past two torrents in a split rar format have the .rar file not complete. it's stuck at for example, 4.7mb instead of the full 100mb. If I turn off simple extractor the file completes correctly.

Simple extractor is doing something too early before deluge completes is my guess.

Every few days, if I check preferences the 'extract torrent in-place' is unchecked causing all my downloads to not be extracted one they've finished. Happened on both deluge and binhex-delugevpn.

Using unRAID. Let me know if you need any system specs or logs.

Doesn't seem to be working on Deluge 2.0. Was working previously on 1.3. Plugin will not load at all in 2.0.

But file isn't there (checked manually, checked unpacking myself, etc).
No idea how to debug further

How are ya'll able to debug during plugin development? The "debug" guides for Deluge 2.0 seem woefully out of date as they point to Deluge 1.x. Are you just creating mocks for Deluge itself?

Is it possible to have the 7zip pop open minimized? If you're in a full screen program, it minimizes that full window when the 7zip window opens.

The files are being extracted in place like I wanted but are also still extracting to the "Extract to Folder:" location, I can't figure out how to disable/stop/blank the path for that to disable it. Any suggestions?

Deluge 2.0.* is now the stable, any plan of updating this plugin to work with it?

Can't find a single working extractor, and as this one is the one ive used for years i would love for it to get an update.

Python version 2.7
7zip installed - I use it just fine manually
plugin in the right directory.
WebUi sees the plugin and I can adjust configuration without issue.
simpleextractor.conf gets created in the deluge config folder no problem

Just nothing gets extracted.

Are there logs stored somewhere? Can this be debugged somehow?

When using this plugin, it adds itself again to the thin client every time it reboots?

The extractor plugin launches an unrar process for every .rar in the download directory when a torrent completes.
Files that are named

• XXXX.part01.rar,
• XXXX.part02.rar
• XXXX. part03.rar

instead of

• .rar
• .r01
• .r02

spawn up multiple unrar processes.

Automatically recognizing the type of rar packaging and only extracting part01.rar would make sense.

I finished a download with 1000+ .7z files, and it opened a LOAD of .7z commandline operation windows resulting in an entire system freeze, could BARELY move my mouse.

Also make it so the window doesnt actually show up, we dont need to see it... its constantly interrupting whatever im doing, lets say im typing THIS and it finished a torrent and now that popup comes up, now what im typing would be interuppted and typed into the command window...

So there's a weird edge case issue that happens sometimes with files that have sub RARs. Basically the person who created the download puts a RAR with the same name as the movie inside a properly named sub RAR. IE:

/movie/movie.rar
/movie/subs/movie-subs.rar/movie.rar

So when using extract in place, it seems to use the torrent save path, and not each files base path, effectively dropping any sub folders.

So it would be great to either respect the sub folders location so it doesn't overwrite the main RAR, or have an option to ignore sub folders altogether.

I always get the popup for 7zip but it doesn't always extract. Any idea what could cause this?
