This mod provides over two dozen new villager professions which trade nearly 1000 miniblocks to decorate your world!
If you come across a conversion item for a miniblock merchant, you can use it to convert an existing villager. For this to work, the villager must be unemployed and be an adult. Right-click the villager with the item to convert them into the corresponding profession!

- 25 new professions which trade a wide variety of miniblocks useful for decorating any build you can come up with
- Fully configurable drop chances for each individual conversion item
- Automatically convert villagers from the Miniblock Traders datapack to the corresponding profession in the Miniblock Merchants mod
- Built-in support for a variety of mods which add new structures (e.g. YUNG's Better...)
- New structures for each profession, spawning across a wide variety of biomes in all three dimensions
- Sample datapack with loot tables to add compatibility with head drop mods / datapacks (e.g. More Mob Heads from Vanilla Tweaks)
- Uninstall process to convert this mod's villagers back to the datapack version if you want to switch back
- More miniblocks!
- More professions?
Probably, but I won't promise a particular time frame.
Absolutely!
This depends on a number of things. If you are playing on a purely vanilla server or cannot install mods for whatever reason, the datapack is absolutely the right way to go. The datapack is also a more future-proof option, although I plan to keep this mod up to date for the foreseeable future.
The datapack is also easier to remove than this mod. If you disable and remove the datapack, existing miniblock traders will keep their professions and trades. That is not the case here (yet).
This mod couldn't possibly exist without the Miniblock Traders datapack by maxheyn. Their work is amazing, and I encourage people to try out the datapack before using this mod. All of the code here was written by me, although the names of the professions, conversion items, and most other strings have been reused. The villager skins were all adapted from player skins published on sites such as minecraftskins.com and planetminecraft.com. A list of each skin used can be found here.
