Udemy, Inc. is an education technology company that provides an online learning and teaching platform. It was founded in May 2010 by Eren Bali, Gagan Biyani, and Oktay Caglar. As of December 2022, the platform has 59 million learners, over 200,000 courses, and more than 70,000 instructors teaching courses in nearly 75 languages. There have been over 800 million course enrollments. Students take courses primarily to improve job-related skills. Some courses generate credit toward technical certification. Udemy attracts corporate trainers seeking to create coursework for employees of their company.

This project was taken up to know how much people are subscribed on Udemy which is considered to be the most popular online education platform, to know which courses the students pay more money for which might give an insight to what part of education, learning or business the population are heading towards.

The data was scrapped from the web and downloaded as an excel file into PowerQuery.

The data was not so dirty so little work was done on this set in respect to cleaning. The column were put in their correct data format where its necessary The time column was split into date and time. Business finance, Graphic Design, Musical Instrumentation and Web Development are the 4 courses collected in this data

The following insights were obtained from the data:

1. Total number of subscribers
2. Total number of reviews
3. Tota price for all courses
4. Total Sum of Subscribers to Course duration
5. Top 5 course subject with the most subscribers
6. Top 5 course subject with the most reviews
7. Most subscribed level in each course

1. Udemy has a total of 11,760,483 subscribers with web development having more subscribers than the other three
2. The course Subject with the most subscribers is Web Development
3. Learn HTMLS Programming From Scratch is the most subscribed course with value of 268,923
4. The top course subscribed for based on Review was Web Developer Bootcamp
5. The Course subject subscribed for based on level is Web Development (All levels).

With this analysis, it seems most of the population are seeing on education or landing a job that heeds toward website development, coding etc. which is evidently seen nowadays that data is the new oil as companies look for more individuals in tech.
