Hi,
first of all, thank you for the great book THP-3. I enjoy reading it and doing the lab exercises.
I downloaded the csk-web image from the thp website.
When starting the vm within virtual box, I don't get an IP-address assigned to the machine.
I have VB running on Mac OS and Linux. -> No difference
The log in screen shows only the local interface: 127.0.0.1
Changing NAT to Bridged Adapter or Host-Only-Adapter doesn't change anything.
I cannot find the machine from my VB-host or any other vm within the same network using a network scanner (nmap).
How do I get an IP assigned to the VM, or how can I configure the network settings of the image?

I am unable to run vmware on my PC so i have to use hyper-v

I have converted the disk to VHDX and i can boot it in hyper-v but the mchine doesnt get an IP - the credentials in the other issue on this do not work for me. any advice?
