Minimal zip and unzip utilities

  • Usage the same as typical zip/unzip utilities except without options
  • Suitable to satisfy zip/unzip requirements for other scripts

zip utility

  • Creates archives, .zip, using a list of filenames and/or directories
  • Always recurses into directories, doesn't follow links

unzip utility

  • Unzips archives to the present directory
  • Can choose to change the destination location
