tried to run your script
I am at the step downloading 500 images
but for me it seems that downloading is very slow
can you explain me please why is that?

When you run script it is possible that in the directory of image there are other file than image(for example in iOS I have .Ds_store file)
so I think a little handling is safe
I added one line in for loop
try: image = Image.open(path) except: continue
in preprocess.py and colour-mosaic.py
So script can escape from crashing.

Don't know what's going on, I just added some pictures from Google Image Search in folder with Flickr downloads and this is what I get on output:

TypeError: object of type 'int' has no len()
