This plugin lets you add custom links in Elementor Image Carousel widget

Description

There is a WordPress limitation (no custom link on images) that makes impossible to add custom links on each image in an image carousel or image gallery like the one in Elementor free version.

This plugin just overrides WordPress attachment fields and Elementor Image Carousel widget to let you add custom links to each image in the carousel. Basically, it adds two custom fields to each image in WordPress Media Library (Custom link and "Open in new tab?" checkbox). Then it hooks into elementor image carousel widget just before it's rendered on frontend.

Usage & Documentation

No options, no premium version, no bullshit. Just activate or deactivate.

The plugin crashes the page on which it is used

Hello author,
I found this plugin very helpful but unfortunately it crashed my webpage on which I was using it. Can you please have a look into it and fix it?

This is a really helpful plugin that I am looking forward to use on many sites.

To fix it and present my website to the client, I have removed the plugin but I want to use it. It would be great if you could fix it asap.

feature request: implement also for gallery

hi, thanks for developing this, it's something that is really missing in Elementor.
I have a feature request: could you make an update of the plugin that also results in the same links working for the gallery widget? The gallery widget looks nicer than the image caroussel and has the option for title and description overlay.

Blank space in carousel is a link

Hi good day, so basically the spaces between images on the carousel count as a link and I wanted to know if it can be changed to just use the space that the actual image is using up?

Suggestion: Add information on how to properly use the plugin

I just saw this feedback on your plugin: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-not-work-1401/

I was confused myself first, when I installed the plugin and set a link for my image. The documentation & how to use section does not explain that you have to enable the option "Link" in the Image Carousel widget and set it to: "Media Files" in order for it to work.

Maybe add that so the users aren't confused and think that your plugin is not working :)
