define 2D, 2.5D, and 3D

2D: standard HTML5 web page, visual elements in the nav bar get highlighted somewhat when hovered over or selected.

2.5D: standard HTML5 web page, but visual elements like the ones in the nav bar show-off 3D properties when hovered or selected.

3D: full fly-in view of web page

verify Design steps documented in repo

The UML diagrams and any other design principles, MVP, target audience, etc should be put in an MD file in the project. README.md should be used for "what is" the project, but this other MD file answers the other questions of why and how.

Brook posted the link as:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vdp9wlSYE8M5_yRTp8NWaj6LG69-6WYIqQ4co_wKMd4/edit?usp=sharing

As of 4:12pm 8/24/2014, that document contained this:

HTML

Semantic layout

Good outline

On every page

CSS

Well-named styles

Object-Oriented rule structure

Responsive to various screen sizes. Would love to see:

Desktop
Mobile

Javascript

Object-Oriented development

Objects have constructor functions
Combine data & behavior into objects
No non-object functions

Interactive

Responds to browser events
Uses jQuery idiomatically (no for loops!)

General

Fully-functional: works as expected

App state survives page reload

Properly scoped: Ambitious enough to be interesting, yet completable in 1 week.

Well-developed concept: Makes something useful

verify README.md complete

What belongs in the primary README.md are the aspects that someone browsing repo's at GitHub would need to read to determine whether they are interested in git'ting this project. Additionally, acknowledgements of contributions should appear in this file.
