I test your projects and it seems not to work properly on prod mode (the *ngIf in the template doesn't trigger).
I had to disable ivy for it to work properly.

Do you have the same issue ? Do you know if it is possible to make it works properly with Ivy ?

Receiving the console error that matches here: angular/angular#35788 when attempting to view the application after production build using this dynamic template method.

Looks like it's a compiler issue, and it may/may not be resolved. I couldn't figure out any way around it.

I saw your comment in angular/angular#15275 (comment) and tried this solution.

It worked well with ng s --aot=true but if I try with ng build --prod --aot and serve dist folder with http-server i'm getting:

ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise): Error: Unexpected value 'class{}' imported by the module 'class{}'. Please add a @NgModule annotation.

You don't have this error?
