shrdlite-course-project's Introduction

The Shrdlite course project

Shrdlite is a programming project in Artificial Intelligence, a course given at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology. For more information, see the course webpages:

The goal of the project is to create an interpreter and a planner so that a person can control a robot in a blocks world to move around objects, by giving commands in natural language.

The inspiration is Shrdlu, by Terry Winograd in 1970:

shrdlite-course-project's Issues

Haskell Javascript integration

Create Haskell stubs of the Interpreter and Planner, and write instructions about how to compile them to Javascript that works with the project

Suggestion: make original SHRDLU run

Maybe it's not appropriate for this course, but I suggest it would be an impressive feat for a group of students to make the original SHRDLU run. I have files from MIT. I also have a PDP-10 emulator running Maclisp, which is the language that was used to write SHRDLU.
