Hi @meixuan-stephanie,

is your point cloud aligned with the floor, i.e. x-y plane is the ground?

You can also rotate the bounding box after deactivating the x_rotation_only mode.

(As it seems that the menu bar is currently not shown for you, you can also set this setting in the config.ini for now.)

Also if you are able to provide an exemplary point cloud, I can see if there is potential to optimize the a drawing mode.

Cheers,

Christoph

Sure thing, thanks for your reply. I will provide the exemplary point cloud file for you as a reference. zip file is below:

Thanks for providing the exemplary point cloud. It is indeed a bit more difficult with large dimensional point clouds. Yet I did some minor adjustment to some parameters and if you align the point cloud with the floor it is quite possible.
spanning_mode

So the following should help with the labeling:

  1. Align your point cloud with the floor (SettingsAlign Point Cloud)
  2. Keep the Z-Rotation Only mode activated (it will support you when labeling)
  3. Use the spanning mode
  4. (Enter a small number in field for the height/ width if you want the bounding box to be very flat)

For the spanning mode the order is always lengthwidthheight, which could be a bit confusing for the vertical windows at first.

I attach you your aligned point cloud that I used for doing the GIF:
