Can you make it sort files alphabetically? Now it is all random. Going into a folder with TV show seasons, the order is all messed up.

Also, could you make an option to resume playback from where you last left off?

In my Google Photos library I saved, mixed in each album, relevant photos and also videos and I can see both if I browse Google Photos by web; through your addon in Kodi I only see photos contained in each album and not the related videos... how can I browse and see also the videos contained in each album, together?
Finally, one detail. How can I sort the albums by date from the most recent? (I have more than 40 albums and it's not very useful scroll down all the albums to go the most recent.
If the features above are not actually implemented, do you think you will make them available in the next issue?

Was working fine for about a week then I started getting an error "Error loading demuxer".

This isn't the biggest deal for me at the moment. Since I don't plan on moving my folder soon.

But in general I've notice that sometimes these strm programs are creating folders that can not be deleted.

From my research it seems like maybe it is adding something to the name that makes it invalid/impossible to creare for windows explorer, but since it was created with another program it exist

Currently, the only way to play the original video stream is to enable the selection option but that is kind of annoying since I would have to choose everytime.

Every time I try to log in I get an error on my web browser saying 'login not verified by google' any ideas how to fix this?

When I want add a account, I followed the instructions but after entry the code on website https://drive-login.herokuapp.com, I have an error on my Kodi. :

So I unchecked "always ask for the stream format before play" because I always just choose original format. but some times when my internet is slow I need to play in a lower resolution. So I have to go through the menu and check the "always ask for the stream format before play" which is a bit of a pain. just wondering is it possible to add a option in the long press menu on a movie/show where it says "play" "information" "marked as watched" etc with the new option "choose resolution"

I am not able to load content from the Movies menu after adding a Movie source pointing to the service created by the Google Drive add-on. I tested on a smartphone OnePlus 6 running Kodi 18.1 and a NVidia Shield TV running Kodi 18.0: I got the same error on both devices. The steps and log provided below are from the the testing I ran in the smartphone.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. After setting up the add-on and make sure you can play a movie (take note of that movie) using it, add a movie source and wait for the movie information be loaded completely.
2. Go the the Movies interface and try to play the same movie as in the step 1 - it should work just fine.
3. Shut Kodi down and open it again.
4. Go to the Movie interface and try to play the same movie as you did in the step 1 - it does not work.
5. Go the Add-ons, click on Google Drive and navigate until you find the movie you used on step 1 and play it - it works.
6. Go back to the Movie interface and try to play the same movie as you did in the step 1 - it does not work.

Describe the bug
I have one Bluray folder in my movie source that is messing up the Movies library after the scraper runs. The problem is that Kodi is displaying all kids of crazy stuff after the movie scrapper runs:

• Lots of movies called 'The Last Playlist'
• Movie called 'The Certificate'
• Another called 'Kung Fu Hustle'
• Lots of movies called 'The Stream'

To Reproduce

1. Make sure you have the Google Drive add-on setup properly with an account that has at least one Bluray Movie Folder with the structure as follows:

 The.Devil.Wears.Prada.2006.1080p
 - BDMV
 - CERTIFICATE
 - SLYVM

2. Make sure you are using the Export to .strm files feature that included the Bluray movie folder on step 1 and you have exported it already.
3. Make sure you have a Movie source setup to use the folder structure exported on step 2
4. Run the movie scraper feature when setting up the movie source, wait for it to complete and go check the Movie section and check for Movie titles such as 'The Certificate', 'Kung Fu Hustle', 'The Stream', 'The Backup Plan' etc....

That it is not a true Bluray rip.

There should be the following file...
The.Devil.Wears.Prada.2006.1080p/BDMV/index.bdmv

Instead you have...
The.Devil.Wears.Prada.2006.1080p/BDMV/index.bdmv.strm

As Kodi cannot find the correct file, it does not recognise this as a bluray folder and instead is just trying to scrape all the video files in the structure. You will have to figure out how you made that error.

in the description of the addon is written "Google Photos support" but once installed when I come into my google account I only see my "Google Drive" and not also "Google Photos" where is stored all my photo library. Where is the same of https://photos.google.com/ in this addon?

When using photos, images appear lower resolution that usual. When I get information on a particular file (using C on the keyboard), it has been reduced to something like 500pixels- Not crisp or clear at all compared to my laptop on the same TV monitor. Is it pulling large thumbnails? How do I get the larger higher resolution images?

Describe the bug
I had this happening to me repeatedly, with Kodi x64 under Windows 10 x64. The machine Kodi was running on had 32GB of RAM.

I haven't pinpointed the exact number of files after which Kodi crashed but the logs, which I activated, stopped without an error. Kodi crashed and the log wasn't written to anymore. Which is why I'm not attaching it.

To Reproduce
Unless it's a problem specific of my machine, I think it should be enough to have a single folder containing thousands of video files.
In my case the folder had over 14 thousands files.

It would be nice to be able to download the original or even the transcoded versions locally. Unless I am dumb, I don't see an option to do this currently.

I've read that it's possible to stream extra audio-track directly with kodi. For the moment, googledrive plugin reads STR files... solution should read additions audio tracks and give them as source to kodi

I've never done anything with python, but I'll read the code to see how STR are found and loaded in kodi. If you can point me lines, would be cool.

I have some videos shared from my family account, due to large storage, so I can not save to my account! I do not want to log in the family account into kodi, just want to share to my personal account to see.

When I add my account to kodi, the Videos tab > Add source but does not show "Shared with me". Can you add the "Shared with me" section to the Add Source section?

As the title stated, it would be nice if this addon supported .ass subtitles. All of my subtitles on Gdrive are .ass so it would be awesome if this addon supports it.

The alternative up to now is to exclude the Bluray folder from the source to not to mess up the Movies interface - that is not good since the other way to get to that content type is not so intuitive as clicking on the Movie picture/fanart

When moving files in google drive and having the export feature set up to both update library and watch for changes, it seems to break the feature and stop adding new content requiring to re-run the export.
Refer to this for added details.

I have 2 devices running this add-on:

1. OnePlus 6 with lastest Android 9 and latest Kodi and latest add-on version.
2. Shield TV 2017 with all the latest Android/Firmware running the latest Kodi and latest add-on version. This is my main media player - it is the main movie player in my Home Theater.

I use the same userid to connect the GDrive add-on o both devices.

I have both connected to the same Asus Rog Rapture Router - the smartphone using AC Wireless Network and Shield TV with Gigabit cable. The router is connected to the ISP ONT.

Currently I've got 200mbps down 100 mbps up connection to the internet.

I run any video on the Smartphone without any problem, any delay/stop. Things just works great there!
On the Shield TV I got the "Slow connection to play/stream" error every other 3 minutes or so! I can't even use it anymore.

What can I do to make the Shield TV problem go away?!

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Setup the GDrive Add-on from the Kodi Official Repository on Kodi Leia (18.1) in the Nvidia Shield TV running the latest firmware version.
2. Play any 4K video from the GDrive movie source you have just set up.
3. After a couple of minutes the video freezes and you get a cache icon with a loading percentage icon that never goes goes beyond 0%

Library update does not automatically remove content which is no longer available on Google Drive.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Google Drive, remove a video file which was previously added to Kodi's library.
2. Open Kodi and update the library.
3. Non-existent entries are not automatically removed from the library,

Currently the addon does not support playback on an http proxy, even though it is able to scan the library on the proxy set on Kodi.

So, would be great if it somehow can be integrated, as people who are within restricted networks within college campuses or workplaces are unable to use the addon.

I am attempted to stream files from my Google Drive, however I can only get them to open if I select the "always ask for the stream format to play" and select "1080p" (which is the resolution of my monitor"

If I select Original, the loading circle appears but nothing happens, then it dissapears.

Possible workaround/solution: have an option to set the default format, as opposed to the popup appearing every time.

Describe the bug
The export to .strm features two options to that say "Update library after export" and "Watch for changes in Cloud". My expectation is that. if both options are marked, a new folder/file added to the source in the Cloud (GDrive) will trigger the process to export the .strm and update the library. The problem is that it won't happen until I navigate manually to the folder which is updated using the Google Drive add-on, open the "Google Drive - Export to .strm file..." interface and click on Save and Run button.
Important information: the issue happens when the content is in a team drive. I tested with content located in the "Shared with me" location and it worked as expected.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Using the "Google Drive" add-on to navigate to the folder you that contains your movie content.
2. Open the option export to .strm files...
3. Set it up the "Destination" location (take note of that) and check the options "Update library after export" and "Watch for changes in Cloud" and click on Save and Run
4. Wait for the export process to finish
5. Setup a new Movie Source using the path to the exported folder on step 3, make sure you set the correct content type (Movie) and set ip to the scan and add to library. Wait for the process to finish.
6. At this time, all your Movies should be in the Movies menu.
7. Add a new Movie to the Cloud. Make sure it is accessible to the plug-in by navigating to the folders until you can find it (I even played it - the movie I used to test is the Philadelphia).
8. At this point the expectation was that the movie would appear in the Movies section, however it does not happen I navigate manually to the folder which is updated using the Google Drive add-on, open the "Google Drive - Export to .strm file..." interface and click on Save and Run button.
9. Only after the manual intervention the new Movie (I used Philadelphia) appeared.

All of my media has kodi nfo files. It would be great if your plugin could download those when it is creating folders/strms. It would help as kodi doesn't always match correctly, and my nfo files are set up correctly.

So, when scraping through a directory's contents:
If there is a file named tvshow.nfo, copy it into the strm location.

When creating a strm file:
See if there is a file named <video>.nfo. If there is, copy it to the strm location

When deleting a strm file:
If there is a matching <video>.nfo, delete it.

Monitor the for changes in the nfo files and update any downloaded nfos.

Goohle drive plugin works mostly as expected, but I cannot access google photos.
