Hey, I put my own dialogue into my Celeste custom map using Ahorn and an Everest Dialog trigger, but the dialog wont work and only ''[helloeverybodi]'' in a black square (which is my Dialog ID name) shows when I get into the trigger ingame.
I already have a ''Dialog'' folder in my map category folder and an English.txt. The following text is what I wrote in the .txt file:

[MADELINE left normal]
test2

I put: ''helloeverybodi'' (without the ''s) in the Ahorn Everest Dialog Trigger's Dialog Id but it still won't work. Am I missing something?

You appear to have posted source code without a license attached, which means it's technically All Rights Reserved. Is this intentional, or did you just forget to attach a license?

The Ahorn startup takes 30-60 seconds and causes the keyboard to lag system-wide. Also, during the startup phase, keyboard inputs system-wide will lag 2-4 second between each other, which hinders the user's usage of other applications during that time.

Disabling "Automatic backups" does not fix the problem, however setting "Backup rate" to an extremely high number does. Setting it to a lower number like 6 causes the player to basically completely loose control over Celeste.

Assuming that "Automatic backups" does actually effect whether Ahorn makes backups or not, it would appear the bug is related to it checking whether it should make a backup or not.

For me, attempting to install the program only downloaded/extracted two items, being Manifest.toml and Project.toml within the "env" folder.

Sidenote: I copied the two files and changed them to txt files to upload them. They may be a way to find the source of the problem.

This means the program in it's current state is unusable for many.
It is a common problem, as on the modding section of the Celeste Discord.
It's likely a win7 problem.

Used Julia 1.1 and windows 10.

I used the NSIS installer to get Ahorn and it worked, but when I opened it later it began loading (showing the bird animation) then it and the terminal closed. run the install_ahorn.jl and press y will show some error message

Was recently trying to install Ahorn and needed to install Julia as a prereq, but when attempting to install to the Program Files directory in my D: drive, permission was denied, since the installer wasn't started with Admin privileges. I fixed this on my end by changing line 176 of the batch file from
start /wait "" "%~dp0%julia_filename%" to
powershell -Command "Start-Process '%~dp0%julia_filename%' -Verb RunAs -Wait"

Worked for me, but wasn't sure how y'all would want to handle this. Don't know if I'm the first to run into this issue or if this intended behavior, but wanted to make it known regardless.

Hello! I have just recently installed Ahorn and when I get to the 'press any key to continue' screen, the command window immediately crashes. This has happened after multiple Julia reinstallations, restarts, etc. What do I do?

As the title suggests, the triggers column is empty on my fresh install of Ahorn.

The "Bloom Fade Trigger" material is selected - as in, I can place it - and I have no way to pick any other trigger material.

In addition, the Entities' Material column only contains two elements: "Floaty Space Block" and "Player (Spawn Point)".

Everything else seems to be OK.

I'm using Ahorn with Hash f5398ec - which should be the latest available version. I'm also using Windows 10.

This is my first time trying out Ahorn, so it's very likely to be my fault - although I don't think I'm doing anything different than what I've seen other users doing on youtube/twitch.

Hello, the problem is that my CPU supports SSE4.1 but doesn't support SSSE3 and libpng16 implementation doesn't account for that possibility, I could modify the source code of libpng16 myself to account for the situation but I have no idea in what way and where does Ahorn use libpng16 and how I could modify it to use the compiled version or compile the modified version.

As per below the line

is the one which uses libpng16, so maybe I can somehow modify this line somehow windowIcon might not be an essential thing.

I created an exception and it got flagged again a bit later as IDP.Alexa.51.

I've found what might be a related issue, but I'm not sure: JuliaLang/julia#28840

Both times it was flagged were when it was installing WinRPM (according to the console.)

Does anyone know if this is an issue with Julia or the program itself? I'm starting to suspect Julia being unsigned but I'm not sure.

I have installed Julia 1.1.0, and yet whenever I try to install Ahorn there is an error during precompiling. It leaves this error log:

I've been running into the below error from time to time and I finally figured out it was the Japanese characters in my file names (in this case for my custom sprites) that was causing the issue. The file in question doesn't even need to be used. Because my locale is Japanese, windows likes to create a new folder or a copy of a file with japanese text, which is why they sometimes end up in my directories even if I'm naming things in english.

I don't know much about computers, and when trying to get Ahorn to load, I get this error message in the log.

I recently discovered that collecting a strawberry in a room while another strawberry is out of bounds in the same room crashes the game due to an area indexing error. While this is technical a vanilla mechanic, it is undesirable in almost any conceivable usage of Ahorn. We should probably add either a warning with the option to remove out-of-bound strawberries (and possible other entities mistakenly placed) or just remove them on save.

This occurs whenever I try to run the ahorn.bat. Instead of installing or opening Ahorn, it says press any key to continue, then closes out of the tab.

I tried doing the other install method using Julia, but I ended up getting an error for not having homebrew and gtk, Homebrew not being available on windows.

quite a mess, probably related to my fucked up environment variables but i'm not sure what to change or where to change it. also why should this program be pulling from what seems to be literally all of my environment variables in the first place? haha, well, what do i know. any tips?

I had an error before about project.toml. I quickly realised that the file was incomplete so i just pasted the project.toml from the git repo. Same thing for the manifest.toml. But it still did not work. Anyways, here is the error log :

I am not at all familiar with Julia and was not sure if this would break things for other people, so I thought that it would be best to share it as an issue instead of a pull request.

yesterday on 2020/08/12 i tried installing ahorn , always a problems or errors occured like , not able to install julia 1.4.1 and setuping ect , i solved the problem and downloaded julia 1.4.2 manually and it accepted it i guess , after that now , it says this to me and idk what should i do : ( Activating environment at C:\Users\NOUR1F\AppData\Local\Ahorn\env\Project.toml
ERROR: ArgumentError: Package Ahorn not found in current path:

• Run import Pkg; Pkg.add("Ahorn") to install the Ahorn package.

and when i try to open julie and type (import Pkg; Pkg.add("Ahorn"))

what should i do now then?

It looks like a git clone issue, it failed to clone both Maple and Ahorn repository on github, while I can do a git clone on these two repository alone. So I wonder what's the problem and how I can get around with this.
