The EEPROM used in the 6502 computer is the 28C256-16 EEPROM, which has 256 k bits. The number of bytes written is 32768.

The EEPROM in the breadboard CPU is the 28C16 EEPROM, which has 11 address lines and therefore 2048 bytes. Makes sense that this is exactly 1/16 the size of the 28C256.
