The Contract Secured Revenue is a novel mechanism that can subsidize creators/NFTs and developers alike. However, it is prone to spamming and many smart contracts could be deployed with only aim to benefit from the gas fee i.e fake mints for a huge number of NFTs. As such the contracts that would be eligible for CSR should undergo an allow list process and to be treated in a similar manner as the developer grants, which would need to be approved by the DAO. In addition, the gas fee from the CSR should be time locked for a certain period i.e one month which would provide the DAO with sufficient time to assess if the transactions performed were genuine or malicious and to withhold the gas fee in the case of a maliciously deployed smart contract. If there re no abjections by the DAO the gas fees should be able to be claimed by the creators/developers.
