overlay not seeing context? about cantaloupe HOT 4 CLOSED

Thanks for reporting this, @PietroLiuzzo, it appears to be a simple bug that the above commit (on the release/5.0 branch) should fix. The fix will be included in the 5.0.6 release, but I don't know when that will be.

Do you mean use it before it's released? Sure, just do something like:

git clone https://github.com/cantaloupe-project/cantaloupe.git
cd cantaloupe
git checkout release/5.0
mvn clean package -DskipTests

This will produce target/cantaloupe-5.0.x.jar which you can swap in in place of your current one.
