not a formal issue as this is just a small hobby project.. writing it down so I remember.

I need to convert both the songs and blogs templates to render the html from markdown 'body' rather than a string field as currently this causes the line breaks and other formatting of the songs(and most likely blogs?) to show up wrong on the front end after publishing the entry.

Sea shanties by nature have a huge number of variations.

I could either add different variations in different song entries(no coding, easy, already implemented if I have songs set up) or I could introduce some sort of variant selector where when for example you are on the page for "Haul Away Joe" you could see some variants

I could also just show all possible lyrics on the songs page... like I could just display all possible lyrics similar to "English Folk Chanteys" does...
