Right now it counts into the negative numbers.

This should happen on each page load, or at a regularly scheduled interval.

• Basic HTTP authentication should be fine.

• Display the published date of each post
• truncate the post to a preview on the index page

A couple options:

• Random online images
• Pulled from writing prompt websites

If someone has the page pulled up when the blog expires, they will continue seeing the posts until they refresh the page. We shouldn't give them that option.
