When I manually set PYTHONPATH (which uses different syntax on Windows), and hack in the fixes above, I can actually get sync to work with a git module under Windows' cmd.exe.

What's a good way to get continuous integration testing on windows? Some Travis competitor?

In CefSharp we use AppVeyor and are quite happy with it. Integrates well with GitHub and config is in a .yml file, which seems appropriate for a project like peru 😄
