bitcoinprivate-prefork-website's Issues

Add 'Feedback' to footer links

We now have btcprivate.org/feedback URL which currently shows an Airtable form allowing users to add their feedback - good or bad, for review. It's a constructive place for users to add their ideas, thoughts and opinions.

However, it's not a nav option at all and needs to be added in the footer links, next to 'Privacy'.

Remove file extensions from URL paths

Things like /team.html etc don't look great and seem quite dated.

Moving to another server will allow us to add rewrite rules to have tidy URLs such as /team

Better hosting

Moving away from current hosting could mean we have SSH/CLI access, can use server side languages such as Node, can connect to a DB etc.

A world of improvement compared to processing flat HTML sites locally.

Buttons Should Not Maintain Clicked State

Issue

Clicking hardfork details button/link results in leaving the button in a active state. This should not happen.

HTML

<a href="#hard-fork" class="btn btn-accent view-section">Hard Fork Details</a>

Include "How to Claim BTCP" button somewhere on home page?

I have been answering calls in support today & lots of people ask this question and don't necessarily know to find it in the 'support' section. Just a thought but we could put a tab on the top like "how to claim BTCP" or something like this.

Update Home page

The websites' home page could really do with some updating, especially removing the snapshot & fork info at the top now we're well past that.

Admin Area, CMS and Page Manager

Once the site has a DB available and some improved hosting, we can make use of it and the server side languages that are available.

This will allow us to create an admin area and once logged in, the BTCP team member could add/edit/remove pages as well as add content to those pages (incl text and images, plus links to files such as PDFs).

This would allow any responsible team member to expand the size of the website with new pages and maintain content on those pages easily.

Improved templating

More template items should be moved to a template system, such as the nav, footer etc.

Basically anything that isn't page specific should be in the template.
