So I just purchased and instaled the ProfitTrailer Tacker, after watching thre you tube video and although it looks promising when launched it showed only one trade? I had my saved trade days set to 90 previously and the log file is huge but the Tracker Wiped my entire json history at lunach!! Log file is till there but the bot thinks its brand new! Any thoughts.... let my now lack of all trading history in the json file be a warning!!!

I think it will be an improvement, if you could increase the number of used digits.

For instance yesterday I made a profit of 0.00139672 according to PT. But PTT only translates this to 0.001400 which is very inaccurate.

It would be better, if PTT would display 8 digits after the point everywhere.

If needed, PTT could use the browser display weight much more, as at the moment on the right and left side of the tables is a lot of unused space.

Show the return over maximum drawdown and average return in a given period, expressed as a proportion of the maximum drawdown level.

It enables one to ask the question: Am I willing to accept an occasional drawdown of X% in order to generate an average return of Y%?

An investment with a max drawdown of 20% and return = 10% (RoMAD = 0.5) would be considered the more attractive Profit Trailer configuration than one with a max drawdown of 40% and a return of 10% (RoMAD = 0.25).

For days already I am getting this message on the browser right after starting PTT:
"Error Validating. Please close and try again in 5 minutes (do not keep refreshing). If the problem persists, your license key may be already in use on another machine."
It doesn't matter how long I wait and I am not using any other VPS for PT*; killing process or even rebooting does not help anything.

Yes, I can count the number of the rows now. But I am guessing it will start paginating the Daily details once they get more than a page long (I only have 20 days history - one page).

I've setup PTT on my VPS and it is running. I've changed the default port in mongoose.conf to sth different. I can access PTT via http://[IPofVPS]:[Port]/. Unfortunately there is no password protection. This means, everybody who scanned the IP address and used ports of the VPS can access my statistics.

I think this is a security risk which could be prevented by setting a password protection like PT has.

Says invalid license key but nothing changed

Any orders in pending log once sold are missing from the daily sales figures.

Can this be fixed asap as this is causing a lot of headache with checking back at the exchange to verify whats happened with any particular pair.

Did as instructed "Instructions: Open PtTracker.json, change startingValue to 1.456576. Save it, then refresh this page." but the Total Current Value does not update?

PT-Tracker works on my VPS accessing both via localhost and its public IP address. Occasionally when I try to connect to it remotely over the internet I get a blank page (no data/number). See the attached.

The strange thing is that PT-Tracker is running just fine on my VPS, but not over the internet.

I have to go to Task Manager and kill mongoose and restart PT-Tracker to recover from this. Maybe there should be a logfile for PT-Tracker.

Should be the same as Profit Trailer format which shows the bot name as the tab name. Maybe change to "Exchange - Bot Name" or "Bot Name - Value"

Rather than updating the JSON file manually, which on a Linux VPS is a little tedious, it would be nice to be able to add a missing transaction (for example mining contributions to the BTC pool or manual sales that don't get captured by the JSON for ProfitTrailer) for a given date.

It would be great to see each pending orders cost basis and profit upon position close. It would be nice to see positions in flight with set sell values rather than just a overall summary on the main dashboard. Users may what to easily see what positions are in flight that they could take a capital loss to free up base currency for new trading pairs.

Hi, I had some dust that I market sold on Binance. It would be great if you could manually add this to Tracker in a fashion similar to adding a transfer.

When one clicks on a coin name X give the option to open up in trading view :

X = GTOETH

For example, I click on X coin from DCA, Pairs or Daily section and a link opens up in a new tab to :

Is configurable so if others want a different lookup URL you don't need to touch your code :

Is it possible to import the trade history from Binance to consolidate the manual selling.
As PT does not track manual selling, it would be a great value addition if PT tracker allows Trade history imports from Binance or API links to Binance.? is it in development?
It would be a great value if this is available as many trades are done manually by most of the people and we need to consolidate those trades for many purposes including tax,

A Pie chart with Filled Vs Expired Orders and a Filled Vs Expired Orders graph by the day

It would be nice to have a line chart showing how long a coin is held, on average, weighted by the amount of value, until sold (kind of like the concept of capital turns in retail, meaning if $1,000 is turned around 15 times in a year, and 10% profit, then we expect $1,500 in profits). A variation of this also good to know is the average of how long a coin is held until right now (this is not based on selling, but what coins are inventory right now). The idea being, as long as both of these lines are mostly horizontal, then we know we are in good shape and in a sustainable situation. On the other hand, if the lines keep going up, then the trend is for holding more and more bags and profits are unsustainable, and something needs to change. This would be a good reality check feature. Thank you.

Please can you fix the issue with the app running over https as i have tried this with apache on linux and its not working. The shell of your page is there but there is no data and no charts

Would be useful to show when the data in the tracker has been last updated, in case we have stuck crontab or scripts etc...

It is important to show when the actual data is valid.

Occasionally PT-Tracker will stop working and will display the following message. I have to kill mongoose in Task Manager and restart PT-Tracker to recover from it.

For the average profit %, wouldn't it make more sense to show it as a WEIGHTED average instead of a simple average? If I make .01 BTC one day, and then .1 BTC another day, that is a massive difference. Taking into account the weighted average might be helpful when showing the average profit %.

Please find a way to import old data and data from other exchanges where we don't run a bot.

It would be great if we could get more data analysis.

What i would like to see would be analysis of best performing coins, how many buys and sells i get on each pair and how many dca's each pair get. With this i could better understand what coin might dca more than others and also see if that brings more profit or if i should remove that pair from trading. Would also be good to know how long one holds each coin for on average.

How to install/run PtTracker on Mac?

I've deposited more than just BTC to my exchange account from other exchanges, so it would be nice if I could specify other coin deposits like the ETH coins I transferred on 2-2-18 without having to look up historical BTC to ETH in the past so that my transfers reflect correctly.

For all non US folks it would be very beneficial to be able to select another Fiat currency like EUR etc.
Prices of trades etc should be converted according to the selected currency.

Does the tool lock in the USD converted rate for each trade at the time of the trade? If you are in the US like me that's going to be needed come tax time.
When expanding to show the daily trade history I see it stores everything but what the BTC/USD was at the exact time of the trade. This would be a great feature to add to this nice tool.

As we spoke, I appreciate that you are open for suggestions and new ideas for development!
And following our conversation, I would like to have a multi-bot dashboard while still allowing to go into details of each bot if wanted.

I think it will be very useful to add a note in some point in time, to track configuration changes that we've made or anything else thats worth noting. Maybe on the daily row?
