Thanks for the detailed report!

I added your sample to the yy package (the module responsible for reading/parsing/serializing/writing yy files), and updated the sprite schema to account for these folder layers:

All packages that depend on that, including the VSCode extension, should now be able to properly parse folder layers!

(It can take a bit for the VSCode extension to get built and published -- v1.49.2 contains this fix)
