Nimble HTML and Markdown

Nimble is an HTML, markdown, and SVG viewer and code editor built on Electron. It aims to provide a quick way to switch between viewing, editing, and debugging files.

Developing

Before build commands can be run npm must be installed and dependencies must be installed with npm install.

To create and run a development distribution run npm start and to create a production build run npm run build. To lint your code for issues, run npm run lint.

Having file open in two editors with autosave causes file to blank

When the same file is open in two or more Nimble editors with autosave enabled at the same time the file blanks periodically. Also applies when a file is open is Nimble and VSCode at the same time for example.

MP4 files don't load

MP4 files don't load when either embedded with a video element or loaded as a page.

Preview can have wrong background color

When previewing pages with a color-scheme that conflicts with the chosen preview background colour, the text colour is updated but the background colour is not.
