Website bookmarker app built with pure JavaScript
Many people leave a comment in your tutorial saying that they have encountered this error：
"Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of null"
I also have this error , After thinking and debuging, I think it should be this reason：

we want to see the latest bookmarks whenever we open and refresh the page.so the function fetchBookmarks() is called after the page is loaded：
<body onload="fetchBookmarks()">
but the localStorage does not have items when the first call is made, so the variable "bookmarks" is null.so what we need to do is add a condition to the function before get the items：
if (localStorage.getItem('bookmarks') === null) return;

I'm a beginner but i think my idea is right and it works！
I copied the main.js file to my own file and the console logs that: bookmarks.push() is not a function in the line 29.
I'm using bootstrap 4.
Can anybody help please?
if there are two google bookmark with the same url i.e. http://google.com, it deletes both, or all existing bookmarks with the same url, i need the solution for this as it got me stuck with my contact project.
Only the domain extension (eg .com) part of the URL is required to submit a bookmark but the Visit button won't work unless it has the https:// part at the start as well.
eg.
A user typing in github.com would submit but the Visit button would lead to:
file:///C:/Users/.../github.com
A user typing in https://github.com will work correctly and lead to GitHub without the file path
