Really like having this, thank you. It would be helpful to have it switchable into imperial measurements. Also, does the app know which camera sensor size it's installed onto? That would play a large role in the DoF. I have it on an A6500 and suspect it's meant for a full frame camera only. These are just suggestions. Thanks!

I find the normal value for the circle of confusion too optimistic. Your app is very useful for me because I shoot a lot of 1080p video and I find dof calculations valid at that resolution however I usually find all dof calculators have a different concept of in focus when it comes to 24mp stils. Can you add a settable coc factor? I usually derate the lens by two full stops to meet my expectation for dof. It would be great if I could jump between the current calculated value for video and a derated value for stills. Hope you can accommodate thanks for reading.

I thought you had to have some official sony approval to do this kind of stuff.....next step is to render the live camera on top of your DOF.

There was one feature that I really liked from the Lytro 2 camera, which is the multi-color depth. This is a step in that direction. Can you point us to the API from sony?
