Subj, it would be cool if Rider was also available through this overlay.

After trying to start a new vm:

VMware Workstation Error:

Same with vmplayer:

after unmerging libraries i am getting the following message from portage:

I do see not dependency from datagrip or idea-ultimate ebuild on the above libraries.

I have been trying to solve the problem for a long time and everything is in vain

when starting the virtual machine, I get the error Could not open /dev/vmmon: No such file or directory.

Kernel 5.4, openrc, and recompiled https://github.com/mkubecek/vmware-host-modules for my kernel

It would be nice to be able to control whether or not you want to have a bundled tool.

The most important part being the bundled java runtime given in each install, it could be like what is done with dev-util/pycharm-community, so you would use bundled-jdk use flag to control it.

On certain ide's there are other bundled tools such as Clion that has for example cmake bundled.

It concerns a lot of .ebuilds and it could be interesting to talk about it.

Hello. I compiling vmware on this overlay. But emerge is giving this fail.

" fatal error: linux/frame.h: No such file or directory "

How can i solve this problem? Thanks

Looks like you need to use different CDN for downloads. Bintray is either dead or soon will be: https://jfrog.com/blog/into-the-sunset-bintray-jcenter-gocenter-and-chartcenter/

your .eduild doesn't have required dependensies. you can try to start vscode-bin without these two deps, but you will get this line of negative speech
/opt/vscode-bin/bin/../code: error while loading shared libraries: libnss3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory (same with libcups)
jorgicio had an identical problem with these deps, i think you can easily use his solution ;)

Latest package version is 7.26.0

JetBrains released the RustRover ide for Rust developers(Preview Edition of course)
Do you have any plans (and extra time) to write an ebuild for it?(I looked around the GPO website,nobody did it yet,I also am a beginner to Gentoo......So)
I would be immensely grateful for it
