Once I have found some settings that correct for the lens distortion that I have, I would like to be able to transform some meta data (2d points), so that it matches up with the new image.

Likewise I would like to transform points located in the new image, back to the space of the old image.

Is there a way to access the transform/deformation field that is used in the correction?

Hello! I've been doing some work based on your library, and wanted to ask if you'd attach an open source license to your work, so I can contribute mine under the same license. MIT or GPLv3, maybe?
