BioFacts

BioFacts is an application meant to help promote education of biological topics.

Instructions For Use

When a user first opens up the application they will be brought to the homepage where they can see a sorted list of facts by the date they were created. The user may click on a fact to see more information about it and they can do all of this without creating an account or signing up. You can create an account or login by using the navigation bar. Once you login or signup you can create a fact and once you create the fact you may upload an image to add to the fact and also edit the information in the fact and you can also delete your fact.

  • Be able to like a post
  • Be able to add a video to a post
  • Be able to comment on a post
  • Be able to change my password
  • Be able to confirm my account with an email
  • Be able to signup for a newsletter with a random fact every week

Contribute

At this point in time the developers are open to outside collaborators on Biofacts. That may change in the future as this project grows and scale issues require more skillsets and man-hours to build and maintain the platform. If you believe in the mission of this product the best thing you can do is utilize the product, contribute code snippets, and help build our knowledgebase.
