When I am viewing a Facebook event page, I want to be able to get the event into my Google Calendar in one click.
Right now, I highlight the event info...

...but it always takes a bit of manual editing once I'm looking at the Google Calendar event edit screen

Namely, as pictured above:
- The title sometimes takes random extra info
- the location ends up in the description, not the location text field
- the start time comes over but the end time doesn't (it always creates a 1-hour event)
This "Send to Calendar" extension seems like it might do this, but when I tried it, it just copies over the event URL, no info at all.
Thoughts on implementation:
- The current extension action requires two clicks to open the Google Calendar edit page: one click on the extension icon, and a second click on the "Create Event" link. Maybe this verification step could be skipped or turned off in an extension setting? Or maybe, the extension could create a Page Action that modifies the extension icon appearance & behavior when it's on a Facebook Event page URL (
https://www.facebook.com/events/*
)
