Listening in on a design system discussion today, there was an interesting part about how everyone on that call had issues with "how do we document all the things in a design system?"

There were a lot of good ideas, but one theme that was consistent was the difficulty of documentation tooling.

With Auro, one of the goals we had was to make documenting easy for anyone with little training. Sure there is some custom dev upfront, but beyond that, updates require little effort.

The majority of our strategy requires the use of markdown documents. There is a slight learning curve, but not beyond anyone's ability to learn.

One thing mentioned was that tools like Storybook are great for demos, it's not all that great for full-on documentation. That gets me to think... is there an opportunity for a new kind of documentation platform?
