Question regarding possible decimal rounding issues

Since floating-point datatypes "double" does not offer an exact representation of all decmal values (e.g. 0.1 or 0.01, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floating-point_arithmetic#Accuracy_problems), does that not pose a problem for conversion calculations?

Shouldn't decimals be used instead?

It is usually said that you should never use floating-point datatypes for money, and I'm wondering if that shouldn't be true for coordinates as well?

I'm hoping that you have already considered this, and it is a non-issue 😀 .
