This is a good solution to the problem. Just loop through, setup that pseudo-handler. When receiving a signal, setup default handler, raise the signal received, re-setup the pseudo-handler.

When the input of the directory to apply xmod is given with a slash at the end, unlike chmod, that slash is not removed on the output.

There exist two problems:

1. If xmod wants to give (execute) permissions recursively, we need to change the permission of the directory and then change its contents recursively, otherwise only the parent directory would be changed
2. If xmod wants to remove (execute) permissions recursively, we need to change the permission of the inner contents of the directory and then the directory itself, otherwise the new process wouldn't be able to enter the directory.
