This demo project was developed as part of a learning exercise to understand API development using Python. The project uses FastAPI to create and manage API endpoints. FastAPI is a modern, fast (high-performance), web framework for building APIs with Python 3.6+ based on standard Python type hints.

To get started with this project, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/bipuldevashish/api_dev_demo
   cd api_dev_demo

2. Create a virtual environment:

   python3 -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate   # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`

3. Install dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt

To run the API server, use the following command:

uvicorn main:app --reload
