Affinity buffer request

Not really related to a problem, just wondering if it's possible to add in since we already have atk/def sliders

Affinity slider to buff character similar to atk/def. Maybe something similar to the fling trainer but more permanent.

infinite loading bug caused by buffer and spirit bird possibly

due to the update that Sunbreak received there is now an infinite loading occurring with certain mods and been dealing with that all day so far even with no mod-enabled except for the spirit bird and buffer mod enabled

whether those mods or the cause or not I do not know for sure but i figured i let you know and have included a screenshot of what i mean exactly

I could be wrong though and hopefully I didn't waste your time with this but again figured I should let you know

it is possible to change skill Partbreaker?

but I'm still having trouble getting the tail cut off

Buffer Bow options are bugged

I believe there's a bug when trying to use the bow buffer. This doesn't happen in training mode however, but when going into quests all of the bow options listed, level charge, bolt boost, and H.Draw don't work.

Here's a Screenshot of the script runner and debug menu as I was testing.

I am using the new build you uploaded today as well another note is, inf stamina on your buffer doesn't stay checked upon restart of game. Not sure if it's intentional but from previous builds it stayed checked.

damage and defense modifiers not working

for some reason, both the damage and defense modifier is not working as it should be and I tried sliding the bar back to 0 before putting back at max for both damage and defence, and it's still not working and no idea why and I am using the latest version

Multiplayer compatibility.

If i use the mod does it affect the friends i play with. if i put on infinite stamina does that affect the others in the lobby im in. and is it possible to use the mod in my friends lobby without him getting the settings i put on

Toggleable/Slider Skills

There's a lot of skills that pretty much no one use so if you can add it would be nice

Unlimited Health Causes Instant Death Moves

Not sure why it does so, but when you use unlimited health, some bosses' moves will instant kill you even when they wouldn't do so normally. Magnamalo and Teostra do this, they'll hit you with an attack that inflicts burn or blight and you'll instantly die from that attack.

Slider for the Sharpness value

Bludgeoner skill offers 10% more damage at green or lower sharpness, currently I'm manually editing the value in the code.

I'd like to see Sharpness having it's own dropdown with a slider to adjust the value to get different levels of sharpness. Unfortunately each weapon has a different value to determine its level so I can only see it being a slider.

new 'auto-consumable' section

At the beginning of a hunt, I end up spamming the same 3 foods
Mid hunt - every time a monster transitions between areas, I spam the same few consumables
It would be nice if these were auto-applied or easily applied.

Describe the solution you'd like

Add a new section to the buffer app - maybe under character
The new section should contain a list of items with a slider next to them. The slider should have 3 options:

  • Off
  • Start Hunt
  • Start Combat
  • Always

For each item in the 'Off' state: do nothing
For each item in the 'Start Hunt' state: Apply the buff a single time at the start of the hunt (or on death/respawn)
For each item in the 'Start Combat' state: Apply the buff each time the player goes from 'out of combat' to 'in combat'.
For each item in the 'Always' state: Every few seconds, refresh the items/buff

Items to add to the list:
Whetstone (set sharpness to max and trigger protective polish)
Demon Drug
Mega Demon Drug
Demon Powder
Might Seed
Might Pill
Armorskin
Mega Armorskin
Hardshell Powder
Adamant Seed
Adamant Pill
Dash Juice

I might have forgotten about some additional consumables - if you think of any more feel free to add them.
Personally I don't care about the 'Always' state. Someone else will probably want it though.
Also, don't worry about conflicts. E.G. someone has Mega Demon Drug and Demon Drug set to 'always'. If people create their own conflicts, let me solve it themselves.

optional: consume/use items from your inventory any time one of these is triggered (excluding the always state)

Other mods that are hooking the PlayerManager Update when used with buffer are causing the game to freeze on loading after choosing a character when the current loadout contains a bow or on quest load if changed to a bow after loading character,

Stuck on loading screen when equip with Bow

i got a freeze on loading screen when i equip Bow

  • i start notice it when i do arena with bow when i jump into quest it freeze at load screen
  • i try equip my bow load out and try doing Normal MR Quest it also Freeze
  • and if u equiped bow and choose your save file and load in to village it freeze too
  • i happen from your mod because i check it out already by remove other mod and singly put only 1 mod in one by one

Greatsword charge level 3 issue

Dragonheart threshold not working

First of all, I guess what you are doing is to limit player hp bar to the point where those skills are activated, which is a wonderful solution instead of making them stronger by being activated without hp reduced.
Heroics and Adrenaline toggle to limit hp work perfectly fine but dragonheart no. Can't figure why, tryed in solo and with 250, 150 and 100 hp.
If I were to know wheres the issue I'll edit the post.

Permanent I-Frames

Related to previous insta kill issue, if there's a large enough attack you can die with unlimited health + defense modifier.
I doubt there's any attacks that can one shot you if you max out the defense multiplier (Lvl 3100), but this would prevent that and allow you to essentially not take knockdowns I think.

My proposed solution is to force the player to always be in a "dodge"/I-frame state. This would essentially save you from any attacks regardless of strength and prevent knockdowns since the attack won't affect player in I-frames.
