Educational project with the purpose of developing a basic implementation of a full-stack web application using Django framework and Python and HTML as main programming languages.

SQLite Database in repository with data already created. Existing users and their related credentials detailed below:

Python3 and a pip3 are required for the setup of this web application.

Installation instructions here.

For easy management of packages and environments pipenv is used. For installing this tool globally run:

pip3 install pipenv

NOTE: At the time of the implementation of this project, Python v3.9.13, pip v22.3.1 and pipenv v2022.9.24 were used.

To get a copy of this project and run it in your local environment, follow the steps listed below.

1. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/BigSamu/Favorite_Books.git

2. Go into the repository

   cd Favorite_Books

3. Activate virtual environemnt

   pipenv shell

4. Install required pyhon packages or dependencies

   pipenv install

5. Run application

   python manage.py runserver

After succesfull installation, you will be able to check the WebApp in any browser by visiting the following URL address: localhost:8000
